This is the new release of Christine Media Player. This release include:

HelpMenu.png
  1. Some bugfixes
  2. Reworked code in Sources list
  3. Reworked display.
  4. Improved import code (no more freeze while looking for the media files)
  5. Multiple Sources list.
  6. Translate Christine and Report a bug menuitems

Thought you'd like to know.. I have added flv, png, jpg, jpeg, and gif to the importable extensions list.
The flv works great (just as do mpg, mpeg, etc. any video
The png, etc. all work and are visible, with a slight catch... they flicker in sync with the "counter"
Can you think of any way to view these bitmap images as both either a slide show (using play&pause) or using the forward & back buttons?
This would make Christine an all around "multimedia viewer" and make it that much greater.

Christine is very nice, I like it a lot so far and, I am actually running it over KDE. Thanks for all the hard work, it's definitely paying off
Have yet to try an animated gif, but will let you know how it goes
