I don't know why
The freaking Mexico government had the brilliant idea to make coins smaller.. I mean, this are almost the same size than the 10 cents, actually this are a bit bolder, but the fact is that nobody wants 10 cents, and with this kind of coins what do they want? eliminate cents at all?.
